I'm trying to pick between Nottingham, Manchester and Birmingham.
I liked Nottingham the best on the open day and the way of teaching looks fun, but Manchester is valued more by employers I'm told and they find it easier finding jobs, the same with Birmingham. I have a feeling the course at Manchester would be harder and I'm also doing a 4 year course with a year in industry instead of the usual 5 year sandwich course with a year in industry. Birmingham is local to me so that's putting me off. Nottingham and Manchester have low student satisfaction, could anyone explain that? I was surprised about Nottingham the students there seemed really happy.
Also is a year abroad considered a good thing by employers?
What's it like where you are?
