    Hey tsr,
    Just a quick question...
Me and a group of lads want to spend a week in Malia this summer but there is 5 of us in the group.
    >Do odd numbers increase room prices?
    >Is it easy to find hotels with a three bed bedroom?

Anyone who's been on holiday in an odd numbered group please reply; if in Malia even better, leave a hotel name!

    Cheers in advance

Four people tends to get the best price per person as many of the hotels seem to have standard one-bedroomed 'rooms' with two beds in the bedroom and a double sofa bed, so 4 people is maximum occupancy and for 5 you'd need an additional room. However you don't pay a set per room price so 5 of you across two rooms will work out cheaper than 6 people in the same rooms.

You can get two-bedroomed places with a sofa bed but only a few hotels do these so they work out cheaper than getting two one-bedroomed 'rooms' at the same hotel but don't tend to work out cheaper overall. No idea about 3-bedroomed places because when we searched for one room for us all we just looked at the cheapest, which were 2 bedrooms with sofa bed.

I haven't been but did look up holidays for 5 with Malia being one option, then 4 when one dropped out for the same dates and everything.

    Thanks StacFace, you're a star!
We'd been a bit worried because we had looked online but couldn't really find any info ourselves. I'll make sure to look out for a room with two beds and a sofa bed.

May I just ask where you found the option for 5? If it's against the rules of this forum dw, you've helped enough already

Thanks cl, that was our original plan, to just get 2 rooms with four beds turn up with the 5 of us and ask for another bed at reception but we soon realised not every hotel would have a spare bed lol. Still thanks for telling me that, adds hope

We went to Malia last year as a group of 13.

All inclusive for a week in June set us back £440 and I think we had 3 x 3 beds and 2 x 2 beds.

Ultimately, 5 shouldn't cost anymore as bundling people in rooms on these sort of holidays isn't a big deal.
