hmmm think i will do forsters because a few of my friends who are already studying there said its an ok place to live and ive heard the green is too strict rules wise like you cant let people stay over and stuff, and im going to be studying pharmacy
I might see you there then :P Haha believe me, the green is not strict at all! Everyone has fairy lights, posters on walls and candles in their rooms! I know people who have had friends stay for a week! One of my flatmates practically has an entire kitchen in her room and no one cares :P We at least a weeks notice of inspections and even then they only poke their head through the door. I know of a few people who have been caught with various borderline illegal substances and they were just told not to smoke them inside! The only thing they get strict with is if the fire alarms are set off!

Hope forster's not too strict :P I love my little fairy lights and my physiology posters practically wallpaper my room!

Don't let the stereotypes of bradford put you off. They aren't true. Bradford is like every other city, there are nice bits and there are bad bits. I don't know of anyone who's had any issues.

Hey The flats have a reasonable sized kitchen, however from what I've heard most people socialise in the common room because it has a massive TV and games consoles. It's a 3/4 min walk from the student union and about 10 minutes into town where the clubs are. Most of the students there are internationals and there aren't many first years usually, but that has the added advantage of second/third years who know their way around!

If you want somewhere really lively and sociable a townhouse in the green is probably best since there are 12 people in a house and a large living area with your own garden.

Hey, I went and viewed Forster Halls a few month ago, and didn't really like it personally. It was dirty, a lot of the furniture and things were broken. It didn't have much storage space. My girlfriend lives just round the corner from it and has heard about a lot of drug dealing going on inside it's grounds.

After viewing Forster, I viewed Haria House and Malik Halls, eventually deciding on Malik as its the same price as Forster, but has just been modernised and is closer to Uni.

    http://www.malikhalls.com/ if anyone is interested.
