How do you deal with people who like you? Watch

How do you usually deal with people who like you, but who you don't like back? Do you still treat them as before, or do you start avoiding/ignoring them?

I usually tend to start acting more cold towards them, because I become paranoid that anything I say or do may end up leading them on.

Personally act the same. If they can cope then no probs, of not they will leave. As long as they know your stance no problem

    Be upfront and honest.

Take them to one side and tell them that you value them as a friend, but you aren't romantically attracted to them. Offer them space if they want it, but otherwise tell them you don't want anything to change between you two.

If you want, you could use the "I value our friendship too much to risk messing it up with romance" card.
