    right guys, im creating a booking system for a tattoo studio to take appointments etc. current system is on papaer and im making the computer based system, obviously.

    first of all i cannot think of any external constraints!
    secondly, im not fully clued up on what deliverables are/what my deliverables would be.
    and finally, im dont know how to use the data flow diagrams!

    Deliverables are what the system will produce, and hypothetically the client will sign-off (make sure this is what they want). For example, the list of client requirements or the description of the proposed system or a logo for the business etc.

    External constraints = Legislation, Communication, Environment, Competitors.

    Agreed deliverables are what you are handing over to your Client and what the system includes. A sign off is needed in that remember.
