I'm in year 12 and have no Idea what I will be doing at uni next year (if a I get the grades to go). Admittedly, I have considered many different things seriously but feel under pressure to decide on one now. So I've created a mini profile of myself; feel free to suggest a career/course to help me find some new inspiration.

    GCSEs: 10A*s and 2As.

AS: Biology, Maths, Chemistry, English Literature; predicted AABA.

    - I volunteer at residential care home
    - I work as a maths tutor at a small tuition place
    - I write articles for my local guardian
    - I perform in a church choir
    - I run my school's debating society
    - Done work experience
    - Applied for Nuffield Bursary in Biological sciences

    Thanks for your help

What kind of environment do you see yourself working in in 5 years time? A lab, a school, a hospital, an office? There are online tests you can do which will help you figure it out. If you really have no idea it's best to keep your options open and also do something you enjoy. For the sake of not limiting yourself I would say don't do law - there's not actually that much you can go into after except law. You obviously enjoy the sciences due to your A level choices and for finance you may have needed maths? If you're aiming for top unis anyway which I'd imagine you are with your fantastic GCSE results. So personally I would suggest something science-related as you can still go into business with this after, you leave your options open to things like graduate medicine/pharmacy etc or you can work as a scientist in a lab. Hope that helped a bit!
