Hi there, i've been looking everywhere for what seems like forever for a career I should pursue and up until now i've had no luck.

Unfortunately after leaving school I had no idea what to do. No subject i enjoyed, no direction and no interest to explore a certain sector.

All I know is that i want to earn a lot of money, more than almost all professions can provide only a doctors salary is in the right ball park. I have always had an interest in businesses and money for quite some time but i don't know what degree can get me in that particular sector??

I watched a program about the owner of diamond hotel and resorts and thought that's exactly what I want to do, I have an interest in hotels but don't know how I would get to opening my own hotels and resorts.

Basically I want to know how i would get into the hotel construction area? what degree would be best suited for me??

I thank everyone who reads this, and would be soooo thankful if anyone could give me some guidance with my life. Many thanks!!

No degree is "suited" to being an entrepreneur and starting your own business. Of course elements of some help, but there is such a steep learning curve when you go out on your own, nothing can really prepare you well and it almost doesn't matter what you study.

Most people intend to work for a few years, make money and then use it to start their empire, however this usually goes out of the window once they have the comfort of a regular paycheck and bills to pay etc. It seems these days you really need a good idea, or enough cash behind you to start something up.
