I'm in Yr 11 but I'm doing my AS maths this year.
I want to study maths in Uni but I'm not sure if I'm gonna get my A this year so if I retake next year will it be frowned upon by universities?

I'm sure they'll take it into account that it was taken a year early, don't worry .

In all honesty, I don't think they would care much.

When I applied to university last year, I was to resit my AS maths in year 13, and I still got five offers.

Universities look at all sorts of things before making an offer. For example, your personal statement means a lot to them; and predicted grades also matter a lot. Also your statement written by your referee is also important.

If I were you, I wouldn't worry too much. It would be best to concentrate on your upcoming GCSE exams, as they really do matter in this day and age.

BTW, I hope everything works out fine.

Please give me positive reputation as I have a low reputation and I'm new to this forum. I would really appreciate that.
