    Hi,
So basically I want to get into UCAS EXTRA as I found a course at another college I like better, because the course is not as exam based ( as uni courses generally are - 1 or 2 exams a year) and I massively underachieve in exams.

So I know i have to talk to the unis i've already firmed and put as my insurance choice and tell them I'm pulling out basically.
My question: what kind of questions do they tend to ask you? Do they give you a bit of a grill? I'd like to be prepared for when I call them.

    Many thanks!

Just give them a call and tell them you want them to reject your application because you're thinking of doing a foundation course before embarking on a degree. That is what I said and they did it a few days later

Have you called this other college to see if they still have places available? Some uni's aren't great at updating UCAS Extra online, so always ask them if they have spaces left and if they would consider you based on your grades etc.

I'm going to do a HND Top up course, but yeah, thanks.
And I have talked to the other college and they told me to go on UCAS Extra and apply for them as they would offer me a place, but i'd still have to do an interview. But to be fair, there's no reason why they shouldn't give me a place - i have lots of work experience and more points than they want, so.
    Thanks.
