English Baccalaureate - French

If you fail french do you still receive the English Baccalaureate, and do you still have a equal opportunity to get into University to study a course that doesn't involve French?

For the english bacc you need gcses in English Maths Science Geography/History and a Language so without french you won't get the english bacc. But tbh I wouldn't worry about it too much, the english bacc is just used so it improves school league tables.

Universities like UCL ask for a C in a language at gcse level though.
