What is the lowest GCSE grades anyone has achieved and got into medicine or dentistry Watch

    ? This has bothered me a lot because the average person has gotten 7 A*'s (obviously with good A-Levels).

    This is solely asking about GCSE grades even though I am aware you need good A-Level grades and work experience etc.

    Just get 800+ on the UKCAT and they won't give a damn if you even did GCSEs.

    Some schools like Cambridge barely even consider them, assuming you have outstanding UMS at AS/A-level and an excellent BMAT score.

    Some other schools want C's as a minimum in the Sciences, English and Maths. You have a good shout if you have good grades ranging from A*-C, with your chances increasing the higher your grades are.

    Remember it's important to focus your application to those who seem them as less important. There's no point applying to Birmingham with anything other than 7 A*s or more.

    If I had 6 GCSE's (5A*/1B), and got good AS UMS scores, would I have a chance at doing Computer Science at somewhere like Cambridge?
