I'm stuck in a bit of a rut fashion-wise! I feel like all I ever wear recently is leggings, hoodies, my black quilted jacket, grey scarf and a pair of brown boots! Or jeans! I've got loads of nice going out dresses etc that I've not even had a chance to wear yet but what I really need is new daytime clothes and evening clothes such as going out for food or to the cinema.

But I don't know where to start I'm not very bold/confident clothes-wise so most of the things I own are black or neutral colours. I mainly shop in New Look because I can afford it.. I look at Topshop clothes and think they're too extravagant for me and wouldn't have the confidence to wear them, but I feel right trampy at the moment. I would love to be able to wear skater skirts, blouses and so on during the day but think I'd feel like an idiot.. Need inspiration please

    Keep the leggings and boots.

Drop the hoody, jacket, jeans and grey scarf.

Buy a long top (white or colorful), short sleeved (show off the arms), wear a little waist belt thingy and chuck a load of accessories around your neck and arms, replace your scarf with a much better colour (black can be sexy, grey is boring).

    ..

Guys opinion here though so feel free to ignore.
