This is NOT a religious thread. I sincerely need someone to explain how on earth this works. Please do not post on this thread if your topic is about Islam or the existence of God. I am only here for mathematics.
Put this in mind:
The verses of the Quran = 6236 total.
The Surahs in the Quran by order number = 144, if you add them together (1+2+3...144 you get 6555)
So keep in mind: The total number of verses in the Quran is 6236, and if you add all the numbers of chapters to each other you get 6555.
If you then add the number of verses in addition to the number in which it is ordered in the Quran i.e Surah fatihah = 1st Surah, 7 verses, you get 8.
If you then do this with every single Surah number corresponding to the chapter number, you get a nice column of numbers.
If you add ALL of the even numbers you get 6236 - the exact number of Surahs.
If you add all the ODD numbers you get 6555 - the exact total of the surahs being added.
There are also an identical number of even and odd surah additions.
Can anyone tell me how on earth this happens? How is it linked? The surah numbers all vary wildly from 7 to 286.
Here is the table:http://eholyquran.com/Quran/LinksPri...lesOfQuran.htm
I love the intricacy of the maths and want to crack why it is like this.
How are you celebrating?
