Hi,
I would have thought it would be just a simple matter of contacting UCAS, Student Finance and your uni and saying you have a change of personal details. You'll of course have to do the same for other places where your name change is important, such as your bank.

To be on the safe side, I'd get in touch with both UCAS and your uni. I see no reason why it should affect your application for finance
