I completed my first degree 10 years ago and in September I start a nursing degree. I was told by the uni that despite already having had one student loan (which is paid off in full) I am still eligible to apply for a reduced rate maintenance loan as it's an NHS course. However when I completed the online application with student finance it told me I was not eligible to apply for anything?

Anyone else had experience with this? Thanks

Yes, you'll be eligible for the reduced loan. I'd give them a ring if nothing comes up

There are courses which are exempt from the ELQ rules and mean you're entitled to a maintenance loan. These include nursing.
