So i'm going to study nursing in Birmingham this Sept/Oct. I know the NHS give a loan to students which is repayable 6 months after qualifying.
I'm coming from Ireland and when I arrive I plan on living in England both during term time and over the summer, with the very strong possibility of staying for a few years.
I can't get my head around what exactly i am entitled to. I already have an honours from college in Ireland but I will be an undergraduate again (at 23years old)
Can someone give a breakdown of wheat exactly I can get?
I have looked at everything but my head in going to explode... so so confused!
also when i go onto the nhs website to apply for funding they want bank details so funds can be transferred into the account. i don't have an english bank account yet... what is the best way ot go about setting up an account asap.
NHS & Tuition loan... i'm confused Watch

These are really questions for the NHS bursary service directly.
With regard to SFE funding you won't be entitled to any financial help from us unfortunately as EU students can only apply for a Tuition Fee Loan which you won't need as the NHS will pay your fees directly.
It might be a good idea to have a look at the NHS bursary website here: http://www.nhsbsa.nhs.uk/816.aspx
Sorry I can't be more help with this,
