A solution containg Fe3+ (aq) is pale yellow, is that right?

If I add KI(aq), Fe3+ will be reduced to Fe2+, so will a pale green solution form (because of Fe2+(aq)
    BUT

Will I not be able to see Fe2+(aq) due to the oxidation of I- to I2, because this produced a brown solution of I2?
