how does it work? i heard it's 19.60 for a weekly bus pass on the oyster for unlimited travel. so how does it work putting it on the oyster .. surely that comes out at £1.40 a go per bus ride, invalidating the unlimited rides?

    19.60 a week, yes correct. I believe it's unlimited.
    I use it every week.

Money doesn't get taken off each time - it just allows you to get on any bus for that whole week.

I have 3 oyster passes .. one has £3.00 , the other £0.40 and the other £0.20 ... Do I just add £19.60 to any one of them or do I need a blank one?

Lol, no, you go to any oyster top up place and ask for a weekly bus pass and then pay the amount.

You can add it to any one of the three (as long as they are still valid).

If you're travelling by bus, there isn't any cheaper option other than using oyster, I'm afraid.
