    I'am hoping to get a Land Rover Defender 90, Does anyone have any idea how much this cost to run (monthly/weekly) and any addional costs as well as anywhere i can get a good one for a fairly cheap price.

    My knowledge is fairly limited, but I will tell you what I can until the Land Rover enthusiasts appear.

    Expect 20 - 25 mpg, they are not economical cars but they aren't terrible either. Rust can be an issue on neglected ones.

    They hold their value well - I think you will be doing well do get a good one for less than £2.5 - £3k. Insurance is fairly cheap so that should offset the cost a bit. Easy to work on too.

    The TD5 engine is meant to be good as well. They used the ford TDCI engines later in life (not sure what your budget is) which are prone to numerous faults.

    If you are on a tight budget, the Discovery will generally be cheaper especially at the bottom of the market.
