Religious Studies - Religion & War - Correct answers?

I'm currently doing the religion and war unit in RS for Unit 2 AQA Spec B. Could someone tell me if these religious points would be fine to use as answers? Thanks. :smile:

I just want to know if the points are fine, as structuring the answer itself isn't a problem.

2 1 Give two reasons why a country might go to war. (2 marks)

Political disagreement
Threatened by the other country
To fight for religious land

2 2 Explain why some religious believers are pacifists. Refer to religious beliefs and
teachings in your answer. (4 marks)

They believe it is a duty in Christianity
Love thy neighbor
All created in Gods image
Treat others how you want to be treated
This means .... We should love everyone equally / we would be disrespecting Gods creations / we should treat each other how we would like to be treated
Therefore .... We do so to avoid be judged by God / To be holy

2 3 ‘Religious believers should never support terrorism.’
What do you think? Explain your opinion. (3 marks)

It goes against Just War theory; it is not done for lawful purpose or to gain greater good

Everything seems great except for number 4 where you would need to mention a peacekeeping organisation. The UN would be the best example, look up where they are and some of the things they do to help. This will definitely get you a couple of extra marks.

number 5 does not seem right to me as they are all dissagree how does treat people how you want to be teated and love thy neighbour fit in with the catagory of you agreing that they should be prepared to fight in a just war. however they do fit in with thee dissagreing catagory
