I know some universities allow people to stay over for a short period of time? but how easy is it to stay over for a few weeks without getting caught?

basically I'm training to be a paramedic at university, so every other month I am on an ambulance placement for a month (month in uni month in placement)

bad news is the placements are all over the country, and not in the county of my uni or my home, so I would either have to travel at 3am for a couple of hours to get home, or find somewhere to stay

one of the counties is where my partners university is so it would just make sense to stay there rather than paying for hotels or travel.

could this work? and what would happen if we did get caught?

    thanks!

In the halls I was in at exeter you'd get away with it no problem. I don't know if other unis are like that though.

It probably won't be noticed by uni staff, but it would be politic of him to ask his flatmates first. In halls we had a girl turn up unannounced once and she stayed for about 10 days, by which point she had rather outworn her welcome.
