How do you think the BBC's latest stunt will effect the North Korean crisis if at all watch

    • Thread Starter

Referring to the BBC's recent Panorama program on North Korea where they posed as students or lecturers at the LSE, London.

Why do the LSE have such good links with North Korea and will they be damaged by this incident?

Doubt it will have any effect at all. Britain has relatively good relations with North Korea (if you can call them that, we have an embassy and such) and most of their rhetoric and threats have been aimed at the US and South Korea not Britain.

    Not even slightly.

All it will mean is that it's unlikely other student trips will be as easy to arrange or will receive much higher levels of control.

Do you agree with the PM's proposal to cut tuition fees for some courses?
