Just put down Nottingham as my Firm for History with Contemporary Chinese Studies... From what I can gather, UP will be where all history will be, but the the Chinese?

What self-catered accommodation would be suitable distance wise for these?

Is St. Peters Courts quite a distance from UP or fairly manageable?

    Thank you!

Chinese classes seem to all take place on Jubilee Campus, which is a 10-15 minute walks from SPC or a 5 minute bus journey (on the free SPC bus).

For Jubilee Campus, Raleigh Park, Opal or St Peters Court would be handy, but the hopper bus runs every 15 minutes between Jubilee and UP, so I wouldn't say it's a huge deciding factor. Broadgate Park is your other self-catered option, which is about a 10-15 minute walk from the centre of UP.

If you don't mind getting a bus to and from UP, SPC is fine. The only problem is if you've got a lecture at 11am, you have to either get the 10am bus and be on campus 50 minutes early, walk for 30-45 minutes or get the 11am bus and be 10 minutes late to your lecture. Most students seem to prefer the latter
