Sorry if this is in the wrong forum, but i was wondering which do you think i should choose, English or music? I'd much prefer to do music, but having talked to some music graduates there don't seem to be much in the way of job opportunities especially since i would likely want to specialise in classical orchestral works which is a somewhat niche market compared to English. I'm not sure it's worth getting into £45,000 for something that might potentially be useless to me. So what do you think i should do?

    Thanks.

If you do music, your best bet is to later do the pgce and become a teacher, it's probably the only career path you can go down. English would be far more useful, although it's ultimately your choice.
