    Hey guys,

I'm currently at Coventry uni doing Automotive Engineering and have nearly finished my 2nd year. I've got a placement lined up for next year.

But I'm having a complete change of heart.

I'm considering switching to Music Tech and starting again. The engineering course i'm on now is miles too difficult for me and I have no idea what I'm doing. I'm not good at maths or physics and I feel I've learned very little over the 2 years.

I'm just wondering peoples opinions on changing courses at such a late stage, and is anyone doing Music Tech that want to comment on it?

The other option is doing an apprenticeship, but I have really no idea about this course of action.

    Many many thanks

Probably not going to be any help to you, but I am also in a similar situation with another course..

Do I leave and will I regret it? Or do I follow my heart and hope for the best?

i totally know how you feel, but the feedback I'm getting from people is literally to follow your heart, don't continue with something you don't enjoy, especially if you're not understanding and getting adequate support from lecturers etc.

    hope you find your solution.

Cheers for the reply, I just don't think studying Music Tech will end with a very good or well paid job
