If you added KI(aq) to a solution of Fe3+(aq), does a precipitate form?

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LFNgr3BI9zk

So KI(aq) added to solution containing Fe3+(aq).

I understand that I- will be oxidised to I2, so that ORANGE SOLUTION forms.

But then when he shakes it, why does a (dark brown precipitate?) form????

What's happening to make that (dark brown precipitate)??? If it something to do with the Cl of FeCl3?????????
