I'm hard at work doing my stats coursework and came across a question that is bugging me.
If my lower quartile is 9.25, does that mean the value that I have to take is the 9th or the 10th?
And similarly, if my upper quartile is 27.75 and my median is 18.5, does that mean I just round up?
Also, do you start a cumulative frequency graph from 0, or just the first class interval's highest value?

Always round up not down. I believe c.f. graph begins at the first class but I'm not 100% sure.
