A* Query

First post ever guys, go easy on me please :colondollar:

I had a question regarding exactly how the A* grade is obtained.

I do OCR Media Studies at A Level and I received an A at both units at AS (coursework & exam). My question is: what if, for my A2 coursework, I get 87/100 and for my A2 exam I get 93/100, would I still get an A* as my final grade? Or do I need at least 90/100 in EACH unit (i.e. the coursework & the exam)?

Any help would be very much appreciated.

Apologies if I've posted in the wrong area of the site, I only signed up today and this is my first post :frown:

90% averaged over all a2 units with an A at AS.

You will still get the A* :smile:

you just need 90% average in A2 and 80% average overall.

You don't need an A at AS. A* can be achieved with a C at AS.

sorry my bad, it's 90% average at A2, but you must achieve an A overall (AS+A2).
