Between Neuroscience and Nursing?

I'm torn between Neuroscience and Nursing.

Neuroscience is really interesting but there won't be a guaranteed job at the end of it where as nursing has an increased likelihood of finding a job quite easily.

I'm a pretty academic person and my friends and family are saying that I should choose Neuroscience as the entry requirements are pretty high, I'll be surrounded by people with the same intelligence level comparing to Nursing, which has pretty low entry requirements.

I don't know whether this is rational or just incredibly ignorant.

Any thoughts?

I'm tempted to say neuroscience because that's what I applied for :biggrin: but go with what ever you enjoy the most. Remember your career is for life (mostly) so you don't want to be miserable! Think out the commitments each career prospect has. Also your dicision will depend on your interest and what you can realistically see yourself doing for 30+ years
