So during my first term my radiator in my uni room was permanently cold... so it was bled and since then it's been permanently hot, despite it being on the snowflake symbol setting- it's way too hot- can anyone help?

make sure that it is fully off (some thermostats on Radiators weren't put on right so even when it's on "snowflake" setting it's actually still on)

Failing that contact your landlord / halls residance and explain the situation

Any idea how I would turn it off- just keep turning?

    Thanks for your reply

sorry been busy, keep turning the dial in the direction you had to get the "snowflake" and keep turning untill it stops, if that doesn't stop your radiator from heating up, try it the other way (the change won't be instinatious) if neither work, then definatley contact your landlord / halls maitenance
