Screenwriting/Creative Writing in the US or Canada?

Hi all

I'm currently in my second year of an undergrad degree in Creative Writing and expecting to get a 2:1 . I would love to do a Masters degree in the US or Canada in Screenwriting.

Any advice appreciated re: application, visa, finance etc. My planned choices are California/ULCA/UC Irvine/USC or Vancouver.

Sorry to bump this but you should look in to University of Southern California's MA Screenwriting programme. You are practically guaranteed a screenwriting job in television if you do the course. Just look at their alumni. Of course, this is only if you can afford to live in LA for three years! I'd say over the three years it can be upwards of £100k in total. The programme is very accommodating for international grads, so I'd say email them and get the specifics on their finances.
