    Hi everyone,
by way of background, I'm completing my finance placement at a FTSE 100 [don't want to name), and even though I'm coming to the end of 8 months here (finish in September),I'm starting to get a bit bored. Like, all is well and during busy times of the month I have month end work to do and that but generally I'm looking for things to do as I'm only assigned like one task to do over a few days which I'm able to finish quite quickly.
I'm their only placement student in this department, so don't have anyone to ask (other than colleagues from uni who are all having a great time on placements) so thought I'd ask here of any one else feels bored and like there is no progression for them whilst on placement.this is bearg in mind I'm very proactive and like to be busy working on something all the time. I do complete what is expected of me and go that extra mile when working on something so its not a case of they not giving me work to do coos I can't do it or anything.
Why do you think you'd is, and is it ok to not be doing much at work because you aren't given anything to do?
    Thanks in advance
Do you agree with the PM's proposal to cut tuition fees for some courses?
