So I am clueless when it comes to how to keep a guy interested so I need some help with this lol

I met a guy online (not a dating site) and he has shown interest in me and jokingly asked me whether we are far enough in the relationship to ask for my number and he also hinted that he would like to take me out for dinner.

Anyway, I am rubbish at texting especially when I am interested. I am boring, clueless and 'friendly' if that makes sense and I honestly don't want him to be put off by this.

How do I text a guy without being overt but enough to show him that I am interested in him?

Also, I am yet to reply to his current text message. I honestly don't know what to say? (it's not a question, it's just an update on what he was doing)

Well you would go into your menu, compose a message and press send. :P

In all seriousness, what the people above have mentioned seems fine .

"mmmmm, I really fancy a sausage bap, perhaps you could make me one? "

    Say that. Instant win.

Well you're not doing a great job of showing your interest by leaving him hanging. The poor guy's probably sat there wondering what he said wrong.

"How about we go out for dinner?"
"I'd love to, when/where did you have in mind?"

I totally feel your pain, I used to suffer from being over polite and (like you said) too "friendly". All you can do is train yourself to be yourself, the way I see it is if they don't like what I'm really like or appriciate my openess from the get go, what's the point?
