    Hello,

I'm new here - though I've been lurking around for several months, feasting on the wealth of information provided.

    I'm in a bit of a fix.

I love computing (programming mainly) but would love to include a finance track in my options.

I spotted a course from lancaster university that sort of offers both worlds - Accounting, Finance and Computer Science.

Has anyone here taken this course? What's your experience like?

Seeing it's a Joint Honors, I'm wondering how indepth it would be in both areas.

Besides this I'm also torn between Accounting/Finance and Finance/Economics. What's your take on the two courses? Which would appeal more to the Investment Banking Scene?

    Any suggestions would be welcome.

At Lancaster the modules are very flexible. First year you don't really have a choice in which modules you pick as you are enrolled on all the basic modules for your course. As you may know Lancaster has major + 2 minor modules. So you could major in Accounting and finance, then take Computer science and economics as minors. Then in the second year there is more flexibility uni in which modules you want to take. Hope that helps
