My favorite quote of all time has to be

"It is impossible to live without failing at something, unless you live so cautiously that you might as well not have lived at all - in which case, you fail by default.”

Love is like a friendship caught on fire. In the beginning a flame, very pretty, often hot and fierce, but still only light and flickering. As love grows older, our hearts mature and our love becomes as coals, deep-burning and unquenchable. -- unknown

How could I forget the Bee Movie-
"According to all known laws of aviation, there is no way a bee should be able to fly. It's wings are too small to get its fat little body off the ground. The bee, of course, flies anyway, because bees don't care what humans think is impossible."

"Believe nothing, no matter where you read it, no matter if I have said it, unless it agrees with your own reason and common sense." -Buddha

I'm told this is a paraphrase rather than a direct quote, but regardless of who said it, it's a powerful reminder not to blindly follow superstition and tradition without subjecting them to the filters of reason and common sense.
