For anyone interested in Law; if in an interview they asked you "If you got oferred a place, which aspects of your character and personality would you like to develop here?" how would you answer?

The trouble is that the kinds of qualities they hope to develop in their students are the same sort of ones that they look for in applicants. If you say you want to develop them then they might think that suggests you don't have them at the moment - tricksy question!

But the general sort of qualities all unis look for is the potential to suceed in the course you apply for, determination, willingness to work hard, conscientiousness, some degree of ambition. For character it's about fitting into student life as well - developing new skills, trying new activities, making the most of your time at uni.

Your general knowledge of the real world, tax, budgeting etc. Learning to fend for yourself, personally motivating your learning and realising that there aren't others around to do it for you, a chance to understand and learn about the legal system of Britain and how is is similar and different to the rest of the world, to understand the consequences of particular actions that people take or don't take, how law affects our everyday life and other stuff like that
