I came to usa a couple months back for my studies.. Im kinda confused with what courses to take. im 17 and starting college. As far as my personal interest is concerned i want to be Masters in Software engineering, but the people here have discouraged me alot. they say there arent any jobs for this field. they say its hard for a girl to study software and all.. my second option would be a doing an MBA in human resources or an MBA in Aviation.
basically what i want from everyone is opinions and suggestions on what to do and which career would be highest paying?

You're 17 and you want to do an MBA? Lol. What on earth is an MBA in Aviation?

You start with a bachelors degree. Software engineering is a solid field with strong job prospects, so if that's your area of interest then I see no reason for you not to pursue it. It is a male dominated field, but that's changing, so I wouldn't worry about it.

It's not about "which career is the highest paying". Any career can potentially pay a lot, far more important is getting into something where you will actually have enough motivation to rise to the top.

An MBA is a Masters in Business Administration. You don't get one in 'Aviation'.

I think the vocational qualification for Human Resources Management (CIPD) is more practical/ preferred by employers than an MBA in HR. A degree in HR is pretty useless...
