    hi,
i would like to take an msc. course in hydrography, specializing in deep sea survey acquisition/processing. which university should i apply to? i have only found one university to apply to, which is UCL, and for the hydrographic surveying course, it is kind of pricy since i will be an international student. please let me know if anyone here have other university recommendation, thank you.

Plymouth University also run an MSc Hydrography:

    Overseas student fees are £11,500.

Southampton uni has a highly-respected Oceanography Department, based in the National Oceanographic Centre. It doesn't have a specific Hydrography Masters, but its Oceanography Masters includes modules relevent to your interests and you can tailor it to specialise in remote sensing:

Overseas student fees are £16,590 (assuming it's classed as lab-based).

I'm afraid that as an overseas student, there won't be any particularly cheap options for a Masters in the UK.
