Hello, I have applied to do a maths degree at Leeds and got an offer of AAB including further maths. However, in the recent months/weeks I've realised maths is not the subject I want to pursue and would very much like to study biology at the university of Leeds. Would there be any way of changing course so long after my offer has been received? If not what would the chances be that if I got into Leeds to do maths I could change to biology as soon as I got there? Thanks a lot.

Thanks for your question. This is something that we often get asked, and the process is the same for most course change requests.
In sort - yes, it is possible to change courses, but it is dependant on the new course accepting your request.
What you need to do is approach Biology, via email is best - [email protected] (make sure you include your contact details and UCAS ID number), outlining which course you'd like the change to and why. Biology may come back to you for more information, potentially including a new (biology focussed) personal statement, so be prepared for this. Biology will be able to look up your application on UCAS, and if they want to make you an offer, they'll then speak to Mathematics and will arrange to make you a "Change Course Offer".
It's much harder to change courses once you've arrived at Leeds, so I'd really recommend looking into applying to change courses sooner, rather than later.
