I am struggling between the following 2 programmes and it would be very helpful if you could give me some suggestion which programme is better to help me achieve my goal: to purse a finance/economics PHD.
LSE MSc Economics & Management
LSE is a big name in economics which would probably better your CV and references
Small class size no more 30
Taught programme for only 10 months (hurry for PHD application)
Non-standard course structure (basically no standard advanced economics trainings) which is more related to business/managerial economics
Industry-oriented with no official academic placement record
University of Zurich MA in Economics
2 years programme with standard advanced economics courses and trainings
UZH is good at experimental economics which I am quite interested in
Big class size with around 90 (not official)
Small name (especially for finance)and even more remote from academic centre (Yes, I do mean USA) than UK
Thats all I can think of so far and I really cannot decide which one is better.
Please help me with it and I would be greatly appreciate! Many thanks in advance!
But we haven't even met!
