If I were to scale the Eiffel Tower illegally and without notice in order to raise millions for some causes, how long would the French jail me for?

Or would I just be given a slap on the wrist and fined?

I cannot find anything online aside from the fact it is illegal to do so. There is no reference to punishment.

You'd probably get shot if you didn't stop. They don't bugger around, I was in Montparnasse station a few weeks ago and there were soldiers milling about in the crowd with semi-autos, seemingly just because it was Easter weekend and there might be a few more people. I've also seen armed police a few times at motorway tolls as well and again they always seem to be properly armed, you know, not just handguns.

What does scale the Eiffel tower mean?
To produce a scale model of the Eiffel tower. This is against the law in France, as it would damage their tourism industry, the backbone of their economy.
