Well, 'spoke' to girl I really like, but pretty sure I came across as a bumbling bag of nervous insecurity ..any advice on best thing to say next time I get the opportunity? (which isn't often - we're different school years and the bus is darn awkward). I just think she'll be like 'well he's got no confidence'...though I do, just not around her...(Scumbag brain) I'm thinking of going for the asking to dinner approach? Cheers folks and folkesses.

Just say hi, maybe sit next to her on the bus, ask about school, what subjects she's doing what she thinks of them.
