I am in my second year of uni, about to go into my third. I was originally doing English Literature with English Language but didn't like my module options for next year so changed it to English and Creative Writing. The English is (presumably) English Lit unless the university adminstration made a mistake and signed me up for English Language and Creative Writing. Anyway, I hear Creative Writing to be a fairly useless degree, and I know that English isn't too much better, but as a whole is this a degree worth getting? Should I (and can I?) ask the uni to change my choices again or is it too late? English Language seems like it is slightly more respectable than creative writing but I'd be happy to do creative writing as long as it doesn't make me look like some arty farty battyman to any potential employers. Thoughts?
Is a BA honours in English and Creative Writing pointless? Watch

I think you're gonna look like an arty farty battyman regardless.
