yeah everyone analyses the person opposite them and thinks the other person is better.. the other person is probably jealous of u so dont worry about it.
Your not alone there! Just dont do what i did and pathetically start refusing to go out to clubs/bars cos you feel inferior

Its hard, but the key is self-accaptance. You always will be your own harshest critic
yep...usually have that feeling too

but there are friends where i feel quite gorgeous sometimes...

Haha everyone replying is anon, I sense some embarrassment

Lol it's more like everyone talks to the other person instead of to me, and if I try and talk I kinda get ignored :frown:

unless you are hideously ugly (as in painful to look at) then i doubt that people talking to your friend is to do with looks. Probably to do with approachability. Maybe she smiles more/looks more friendly/looks talkative?

Bloody hell, anonymous people. They always come up with weird or random things.

Are they real?
never really thought about it

all my friends are pretty average looking anyway, myself included i think
well, are you sure that they dont talk more to a particular friend/couple of friends because they know them better?

Like they are in the same classes etc and have more in common, but genuinely arent aware theyre talkin more to each other?

No these are just randoms on nights out. I'd like to think that I'm approachable etc but maybe I don't have the necessary charisma or something?

EDIT I don't usually mind but it's been getting to me recently for some reason :frown:

yeah maybe your friend's charisma just makes it easier for people to talk to? some people are just like that. Imagine you had to go up to two people and tell them something. I bet you would automatically turn and direct your words to one of them over the other. I don't people do it deliberately to ignore you or anything. Next time you're out just make an effort to be more smiley and open to conversation.

Hell yes.

I have friends that ooze style, elegance grace and beauty. They could wear bin bags and still look gorgeous.

I, on the other hand... lol

It's so bad to almost resent your friends though

Aaah, no see, you shouldn't go about resenting them. It isn't their fault that they're like that. Everyone's got their own unique 'thing' about them which makes them special, right? (supposedly), so they perhaps look upon you and envy your talent that they might not have.

Being outrageously attractive isn't *absolutely* everything, afterall.

awww same

my friends are like that too haha
my brothers girlfriend is gorgeous and always accessorises brilliantly and i feel like a slob compared to her, i love her to bits but i wish she'd dress like a slob once in a while hehe

Actually, I often find it considerably more degrading to embark on a night out with acquaintances who were hitherto by my own estimation 'average' at best: such firmly trumps any excuse I might have for their enduring propensity to 'pull'; that is, save for a dawning realisation that I am even less attractive than previously thought to be the case.

Yeah I know what u mean. But u jsut gotta look at urself in the mirror in even the worst of times and say 'damn. I look good'
I have a really bad problem with me looking 12/13 and being 5ft tall when im 20! I feel like a freak and people look at me weird when i tell them my age.
