# gauss jordan elimination question watch

x-3y+6kz=0
x+y+(6k-4)=4k+4
2x-y+2kz=k+1

What have you tried? Have you applied Gauss-Jordan as you usually would?

To convert
x (thing)|(thing)
x (thing)|(thing)
2x (thing)|(thing)
into row-echelon form, you would do…? (You're trying to get it into the form {x,0,0} for the first two columns.)

you'd do row2 := row1 - row2.

Oh, that's much better - OP, don't bother with the elimination unless you want an exercise
