    Greetings

To cut a long story short, I had to drop out of uni in December for medical reasons. I would have just took the year out and started again in September but I couldn't be certain I would be fit to resume my studies by then so I didn't. My question is this; assuming I was well enough to go back to Uni, would I have to pay the fee I originally paid (£3290) or would I have to pay the new £9000 fees? I had a similar medical issue before and ended up resitting a year so I only have 1 year left of student finance to claim, which leaves me in a pickle if I wanted to resume

    Thanks in advance, Jake.

If you would be starting a new course it will be the new fees.

If you can provide evidence of the medical condition from someone such as a doctor who saw you then student finance won't count the years you had to drop out due to that as it was beyond your control.

I'm not 100% on the fees issue but I think as has been said if you start a new course then you'd be on the new fee system, where as if you restarted your old course then the university could allow you to continue on the old system.
