Apparently you can buy nandos loyalty cards which have been filled in fully for £1.00 on ebay.

This translates in to about £30.00 + worth of food.

I think this is disgusting if you do it you should get done for fraud...

I'm sure nandos are aware of this, people have been doing it for a long time. I'm not sure why nandos have chosen to keep the loyalty scheme.

Given the number of employees that I understand are "let go" for doing this I think they probably do

Oh yes I guess they do... as what makes this loyalty card scam so good is that the loyalty card is real and not fake as some employes steal them... Steal the stamp I should say.

    I work at Nando's.

The company are well aware of the leak to their revenue the loyalty cards can be, however, given the current 'boom' Nando's is having as a company in addition to the fact that the loyalty cards bring in more money from genuine customers than is lost, they just don't care.

They've been trialling E-loyalty cards, similar to what you'd find at Subway or a casino, in Scotland and they will be rolled out sometime this year I think.

And? Do you own the company? No.

What I'm getting at, is that you don't even have a reason to care really.

It's not like anybody is getting hurt here.

I think the number of people willing to do this is outweighed by the number of people who are encouraged to keep going because of it.
As for Nando's they are still making a lot of money, so unless everyone starts to do it I don't think it is much of a problem for them.

First of all, it would take only a simple understanding of politics to realise that the right wing are more likely to sympathise with you here.

However, you still haven't told me why it bothers you so much.

Thing is, people are getting hurt in the Iraq invasion.

No one is getting hurt in the Nando's scheme.
