In this thread we show our appreciation towards Baroness Margaret Thatcher. She has entered Heaven and is reunited with Sir Denis Thatcher for eternity. RIP.

We need to remember what it is like to be true capitalists, economic liberals and supporters of liberty. I am not going to lie, the last two days have been especially difficult and I have shed a few tears. Before it hit me: she had a wonderful life at 87 years old. She defeated socialism! Long live Thatcherism!

    Your turn.

DISCLAIMER: Any anti-Thatcher posts are not allowed, this is strictly a support thread and remembrance. Please feel free to post any uplifting YouTube videos or quotes of the Lady, I would really like that.

Thank you, Mrs Thatcher. Thank you so much.

If you are going to make a tribute to milk snatcher Thatcher, at least get your username correct.
    It's "The Iron Lady".
And no she did not defeat socialism, and no you can't make a tribute thread as this is in the "debate" section of the forum.

isn't 'capitalist' a rather left wing term? I've never a ring winger use that term.

If you actually respect them both as much as proclaim, you'd take care to get their titles right. She was Baroness Thatcher, he was Sir Denis Thatcher.

    Or Dennis even.

agree or disagree with her politics. A great leader who overcame huge challenges to become the first female prime minister. Changed the political landscape of the country to such an extent that even her opponents had to change.

OK now that slight issue is out of the way, which has been rectified, do you have any positive contributions?

No, he was Denis with one n. Unusual spelling, granted, but correct in his case.

Fantastic woman, one who I admire greatly and arguably the best PM the country had ever seen. Re-elected 3 times, first woman PM- RIP.

All of you who dance on her grave and play disgusting songs to celebrate are vile.

Granted she didn't handle everything perfectly, but no prime minister in our history ever has, and she had a lot to handle.
    RIP Thatcher.

Oh yes! She transformed the country from 'Sick man of Europe' and had big hand in what it is today.

Well, to get this thread back on track, one of my favourite Thatcher moments:

    http://m.youtube.com/watch?v=pdR7WW3XR9c

The "poor poorer" line really resonates with me.
