Will give rep . Just a bit confused on this last question. Please see attatched. The answer is meant to be b. I understand that at the negative end I.e. towards the top we will have the longest fragments I.e. the 8 nucleotides long one and that were we have a black rectangle that's where the dideoxy nucleotide would stop e.g. band h shows a black rectangle at T and our last nucleotide would end in the T dideoxy nucleotide. Please can someone explain y at b we can tell that the nucleotide is 7 strands long. It's a level so I don't need it in loads and loads of complicated details please- having a bit of trouble putting together what I know to work it out

If you get it simple, count from the end. From h to a there are eight. From h to b, there are seven. :P
