I'm on an art course and everyone is lovely, but they have so much anger and are so harsh on their work and others. When talking about others they will nit pick in the nicest way possible, but won't hide if they don't like it and I've seen people hysterical if something doesn't turn out right. They have smashed up their work and not turn up to class for a week. I will admit I kind of am the same and I will rip up my work and sulk, but it see,a we are all on the same wavelength? Does anyone agree?

Of course. You are supposed to be putting your heart and soul into it. If someone basically calls it **** it's no surprise if you get depressed. But smashing things up and not going to class is a little bit childish.

Apparently the workload on art courses are tremendously high, it's subjective nature doesn't help either.

It also probably doesn't help that they get looked down upon and teased by more 'academic' students for doing a 'soft' course.

We do 7 hours a day, 4 days a week. then expected to do 40hours a week outside of that :L it doesn't seem much added together, but take sleeping into account and eating and travelling :P
